All
religions have those select few who, let's say, lack a sense of
moderation. For example:
1. Good for one or two children's nightmares.
2. Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.
3. If true then every home, hotel room and office with a computer or television is a deathtrap.
4. $50 says this guy's never been laid.
5. Reading between the lines: unless you're Christian, you're shit out of luck.
6. Out of the mouth of children...
7. 'You can safely assume that you’ve created God in your own image
when it turns out that God hates all the same people you do.'
8. Only in America.

Jesus DID die so you could stick your butt and boobs in my face.

God, this is so pathetic.. Oups, did I just say "God"? Damn, I've said it again! Oh no! I said "damn", now I'm really fucked... !!! Man, the "F" word! I'm so going to hell for this... ain't I ?
I think America is lost, and by lost, I mean just doesn't know where to turn to... And I also think that religious zeleots are very dangerous.

Jesus died for your sins... so make 'em worth his time.

Haha I actually saw that guy in number 6 with the kid making fun of him. It was at the folklife festival in seattle. I got a picture with his buddy, the guy whose sign had a big list of people going to hell.

Christians are so unlike their Christ.
Posted by: John | December 12, 2007 at 01:18 PM
gay.. i hate people who think this shit
Posted by: Rich | December 12, 2007 at 01:27 PM
The sad part about #8 is that someone wasted a lot of money to erect that.
Posted by: JoeBloe | December 12, 2007 at 01:27 PM
Johnny,
Not all "christians" are unlike their Christ. But you can bet those of us who wish to be like him won't be carrying these signs... we'll be too busy feeding the hungry, clothing the downtrodden, and housing the homeless in our spare bedrooms. "They will know you by your love."

Er, I guess I was replying to John, not Johnny... oops :)
Posted by: jwise | December 12, 2007 at 01:57 PM
The greatest scam on earth... do everything the way we say, just like a good little sheep, and you will be rewarded in death. If not, you will burn in hell for eternity.
What a sack of crap. Only fear-based morons buy into this crap. I think they call them Sheeple. Sheep + People.

Turn or Burn was used centuries ago and these people still use it. How original.

I love Jesus. And it makes me sad to see people scaring others about the faith. The faith in Jesus is not supposed to be heavy.

Ha ha, he said "erect"

Christians in the US are no different than the "terrorists" that the christians here want us to hate. They all deserve to go to hell. Keep your worthless beliefs to your retched self! I teach my kids about religious folk. I teach them to never trust them, as they are intolerant murderers. Athiests did not start the republican war, the christian right did, and the christian left is too stupid to do anything about it. All I can say is I'm glad we are loosing. Evil should never be rooted for! I'm rooting for those that just wants to live in harmony.

These people are all fucked in the head.
Posted by: shawn | December 12, 2007 at 02:20 PM
It should be illegal for people to force diluted opinions onto children. Mommy tells you to hold a sign, so you do, but in doing so you do not realize that your mom is infact a nutjob. Can you say "nutjob" boys and girls. Sure I knew you could. Humans are doomed by our own opression. Our world it too easy so we make up impossible belief systems to ensure our perpetual misery. I for one can't wait for humans to find an enemy worth joining forces against. The only reason we all hate eachother is there are no nine foot tall ant-creatures tearing around chewing people to pieces. Suddenly anythign without a drooling ant maw would look more like friend than foe.

haha, one of those is at Indiana University. Every Thursday the crazy people come and yell about something, usually killing babies.

Its sad. These same people made me realize how much better it is to be atheist. O well I guess im going to "hell", but I think I would rather go to hell. Why would I want to go to a heaven that excludes good moral and even faith filled people, because they dont believe in a God-Man. Sounds fishy to me.

You all have issues. I believe in God. Man created religion so its true no you wont see me walking the sidewalk with signs in tow, but i sure will be the person praying for both sides, ahhh this world needs help!

Posted by: yes | December 12, 2007 at 04:53 PM
as a follower of Christ, i can tell you that forcing yourself on other people wont accomplish a thing. I CAN NOT AND WILL NOT CHANGE YOU with and laws that i get congress to pass. all i can do is lead you to Jesus, if you accept him, great, if not, there is nothing i can do! and i WONT belittle you for it!
come on, Jesus was here and some accepted him and some rejected him! I CANT change you, only Jesus can!

Wow, I know where the Statue of Liberty is. That's in Memphis, it's a gaudy monstrosity posed to show you how stupid a zealot can be.
